DAY ONE
Start trekking at 1,800M ASL (Bushiyi Trail Head) through a Rain forest to Shiloko Campsite at 2,700M ASL for lunch break. Proceed through the mixed Bamboo Zone and then the Heath zone to reach Dubbi Campsite at 3,600M ASL for the first night, Total distance 13km
DAY TWO
Leave Dubbi Camp after breakfast for the summit 4,321 M ASL for the distance of 7km through the moorland vegetation zone. After summiting, descend to Mawongongo camp at 3700M ASL for the second night. Total distance of 13km
DAY THREE
Leave mawongongo camp and first trek to 4000m then drop to 3000m ASL at kajeri camp For the third night for a distance of 12km
DAY FOUR
Leave kajeri camp to Tutum cave camp at 2665M ASL for a distance of 10km for the forth night
DAY FIVE
Leave Tutum camp and exit at kapkwai forest exploration center at 2050M ASL for a distance of 9.5km
So you choose either to break day one(13km) into two or break day three (22km) into two days. With option one, you can as well walk 12km on day four to kajeri and spend a night here, then Day five you will have to skip Tutum cave camp and trek from kajeri to exit for around 20km from 3000m ASL to 2050mASL
