Wildlife Safaris in Uganda

Wildlife safaris in Uganda bring about different wilderness adventures that bring visitors closer to wildlife in their natural habitats. These safaris are undoubtedly the main reason why visitors come to Africa, from the start of the 20th Century.

On the cost of wildlife safaris, they are quite cheap compared to primate trekking safaris, such as gorilla trekking tours and chimpanzee trekking safaris.

These safaris also largely depend on the chosen activities, choice of accommodation, length of the safari and transport means to be used during the trip. Also, they have fewer restrictions compared to primate trekking safaris, visitors are always advised to respect the Parks by not going off-track, not littering and making noise because it scares away the animals.

A basic packing list for wildlife safaris in Uganda should include wide brim hat, comfortable and breathable clothing, sunglasses, camera with extra memory space and batteries, rain jacket in case of abrupt downpours, and toiletries. There are hand sanitizers, wet wipes, bathing soap, toothbrush, lotion, toothpaste, deodorant and sanitary towels for female travellers; first aid kit, pair of binoculars, insect repellant, medicine (anti-malarial meds, anti-diarrheal tabs and many others), sandals, hiking boots, extra cash, swimwear and many others.
